The Mammoth Model - Atypical By Design
You may be asking yourself: why doesn't Mammoth have the typical line all law firms put on their site, "Mammoth provides exceptional legal services in a client attentive and cost effective manner"?
Answer:
First, we don't need that line because we actually do it.
Our business structure is completely (as in180 degrees) different from traditional law firms:
- "Exceptional legal services"? Got it. Click here to look at our biographies which are chock full of legal and business experience.
- "Client attentive"? Yes. As our existing clients already know, in addition to law, Mammoth practices extreme customer service by utilizing six sigma style management techniques and work flow processes and by utilizing inexpensive but sophisticated technologies such as Skype, Mozy, iWeb and Thinking Phone Networks so that we can respond to client questions within minutes, not hours or days.
- "Cost Effective"? Yes again. First, with almost all of our services we are banishing the billable hour. Mammoth is bringing back the once thought extinct fixed fee model ("bringing back" because back in the good old days all legal services were fixed not hourly) with our fixed fee pricing on our prosecution, transaction and consulting services and our ground-breaking subscription services that are a fraction of the costs of top international law firms.
Second, get over your cost-conscious fear of calling your attorney. At Mammoth, we don't bill you when you call and ask us questions, even ones you have always wanted to ask but were afraid to, like:
"Could I patent my technique for swinging side to side instead of front to back on a swingset?"
(By the way, the answer is yes you could have, but someone else beat you to it.)
Third, Mammoth is resolutely determined to help our clients become pro-active in spotting and addressing legal issues before these become six and seven figure legal problems. Our "One Minute Legal Training" gives you the basic tools you need to spot problems. Our Free IP Audits identify areas of weakness in your IP protection systems and help you identify possible monetization strategies.
And, well, because our fees are fixed, we spend a lot of time talking with our clients and helping them understand all the issues involved.
