Patent Attorney
Creativity is the life blood of many businesses today and the attorneys at Mammoth have the expertise in patent law to protect and maximize the value of your company's creativity. Patent law is constantly changing and navigating through that changing landscape, while still judiciously and effectively spending your precious resources, will be a key to your company's success.
That's why I'm here.
Most patent attorneys never saw a patent application they didn't like, and will steer their clients down the same patent path no matter the technology or situation. My philosophy, and that of my colleagues at Mammoth, has geared us to ask the right questions to be sure that our clients are maximizing the value of their creativity and their return on their intellectual property investments.
Currently
University at Buffalo, "STOR" office (Technology Transfer Office)
What is it? A technology transfer office takes technology developed at a university and either launches a start-up company to commercialize the technology or sells (licenses) the technology to an existing company.
What I do here? I manage the patent portfolio for the University at Buffalo; render opinions on all areas of patent law; oversee and conduct the patent prosecution of the university; manage patent litigation; advise on all contracts and agreements involving intellectual property; and anything else necessary to maximize the value of the intellectual property value of the university.
What does this mean for Mammoth clients? I know how to manage a patent portfolio and how to maximize a patent budget. I can help you sort through the treasure chest of intellectual property at your company to select the gems that should be patented, and then pursue patents to protect them.
